Campground
Brookdale Family Campground was voted Best Campground in
Crawford County by the Meadville Tribune readers in 2006.
Located in the Lake Region of North Western Pennsylvania, 7
miles east of Meadville on Rt. 27. All types of camping
available: RV, pop-up, tent. Every campsite has a picnic table
and fire ring. The campgrounds also includes 7 fishing ponds
with free catch and release fishing. A full hookup site is only
$31 per night, water and electric site is $28.
Connecticut -
Seaport
Campground
Another award-winner, Seaport was voted Best Campground in
Connecticut in four categories in Frommer's Guide. Located in
the coastal town of Old Mystic, minutes away from saltwater
beaches. Features include: water & electric hookups, some
with cable and 50amp service; automatic laundromat, grocery
store, full-sized swimming pool fishing Pond, miniature golf,
horseshoes, children's games and live entertainment.
Branson,
Missouri - ABC RV Park
If you like a blend of glitz and nature, then a stay at

what you're looking for. Branson is considered the "live music
capital of the world" as there are numerous venues in town with
first-rate entertainment, such as "Best of Motown," "Brett

American Bandstand" and "Oak Ridge Boys." But, Branson is also
a nature-lover's paradise, located in the beautiful Ozark

Beach
Want some great ocean sunsets to go with your RV camping?
Check out Dockweiller State Beach located in Playa Del Rey,
just south of Los Angeles. It's as close to the sand as you can
get in an RV. There are 82 full hookup sites and 35 spaces
without hookups, with showers, restrooms and laundry
facilities. Each site includes picnic table and grill. The
upside are the awesome views. The downside is that you're near
the airport, which can be noisy. But, if the noise doesn't
bother you, the views are incredible. There is no tent
camping.
Yellowstone
Nat. Park - Yellowstone's Edge RV
Resort
Yellowstone's Edge RV Resort is located just 35 miles north
of the North entrance of Yellowstone National park, occupying
more than a quarter mile of riverfront along the Yellowstone
River, which, the Resort points out, is one of the top ten
fly-fishing rivers in the world (the Yellowstone River is a
catch and release river). RV sites include full hook-ups with
30/50-amp power supply. Amenities include store, laundry
facilities, showers, game room. You can also book a trip with a
fishing guide. Outdoor activities in the area include: fishing,
hiking, horseback riding, rafting and backcountry exploring. RV
rentals are in Bozeman, 48 miles away, in case you wish to fly
in and rent an RV.
